Marina Frangolias wins the "Transformations" Artistic Challenge at Hennessey’s Oakridge.
The inspiration and vision I had for Karlys hair was feathers. Cutting a layered bob, I inverted the back with lots of texture to lighten the ends. I kept the front longer, as to create a C shape around her face. Her colour was touched up with Blonde Dimension and 10 volume peroxide. After, it was toned with Redken Shades EQ 9v and Crystlal Clear. The mixture helped to cut any unwanted gold tones.
After drying her hair, I applied Redken Fusion 6Rr, Vr intensifier, and 10 volume in thick slices all around her hairline. With the same colour, I took sections every one inch, and then took thin subsections from that. I then feather stroked the ends of the hair and isolated them in foil all the way up to the crown. The hair was styled with Kerastase Ciment Thermique to treat the hair as well as protect. |
